Festive Fun with New Rollick Game

Many of us take time off during the holidays to be with family and the kids are out of school for a couple of weeks so what a better time to hang out and celebrate together.

We love to have a lot of little parties or get-togethers where we either watch some Christmas movies or play some fun, bubbly and animated games. We have a cupboard full of our old standbys but it’s so nice to introduce a new game into the home.

The Game Chef has a new game called Rollick! This highly enthusiastic game offers a new and exciting twist to traditional Charades. Instead of one person acting out a clue for their team to guess, they reversed the process where the entire team is acting out the clue for one or two people. Oh, my goodness, this is so much fun, you can really tell who the show-offs are.

The game comes with a rule sheet, a timer, score pads and 378 cards. One side of the card is blue with easier clues and the other side is red with a little tougher clues. They suggest you have 6 or more players on each team, honestly the more the merrier.

Although the object of the game is to earn points, we never play this way, we totally enjoy the playful essence of the game.

It’s fun to skillfully choose your teammates, people who are not afraid of acting or looking completely silly. Most words don’t sound funny when you say them but try to act them out and you’ll be giggling all night. One clue was the “Brady Bunch”, how would you act this out? We did and talk about goofy and chaotic gestures. That’s the fun of this game, you can act crazy without being embarrassed and get all the laughs as well.

Both the kids and adults enjoyed playing this game. They recommend the game for ages 10+, but for our family as long as the kids understood what the word meant, they could play. We all agree that Rollick is a perfect game for parties and family moments. Oh, what fun we’ll have playing this hilarious game during the holiday season!
