Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us they can be tamed! I believe in everything until it’s disproved.
If we peruse through ancient folklore and mythology scrolls from the diverse cultures around the world, many have detailed recorded stories about Dragons. These legendary creatures are depicted as being large, vicious, serpent-like beasts with wings, horns and scales along with having the ability to breathe large flames of fire.
Using these iconic features today, imaginative companies like Disney (Pete’s Dragon), Dreamworks (Toothless) and Tolkien (Smaug) have created some of the most memorable dragons that we’ve become deeply fond of. Most of these dragons are shown as lovable, playful and very intelligent. Kids and adults can relate to dragons with pleasing personalities.
I love dragons as I’m sure thousands of other people do as well. Because of our love and passion for dragons, numerous companies have created toys, games, kites and even gorgeous stationery which I found on Peter Paupers website. They have some of the prettiest journals, calendars, note cards and more. Plus, you can create sets using the same design or pattern, like the lofty and graceful dragons.
The Dragon Journal is a mid-size journal with spellbound artwork that features a beautiful jewel-toned dragon with gold foiled tracery and an etheric moonlight sky background. It holds 160 lightly lined acid-free pages where you can pen your secret spells, potions, and incantations. Each page has gold gilded edges for that extra old-world charm and splendor. Plus, there is a good sized pouch on the inner back cover for those important notes, cards or mementos. And the amethyst elastic will keep your journal bound securely so no secrets are divulged. 6-1/4 inches wide by 8-1/4 inches high.
