Episode 4: Increasing Positive Emotions

Today, you’ll experience the journey of two INCREDIBLE women who did something similar—turning to comedy, affirmations, and mindset work to help reverse their triple-negative breast cancer diagnoses.

Louise Hay and countless other spiritual teachers and healing experts have long emphasized that positive belief systems can have significant beneficial effects on your health. She even credited affirmations with contributing to her breast cancer recovery. In this episode, you’ll experience the journey of two incredible women who did something similar turning to comedy, affirmations, and mindset work to help reverse their triple-negative breast cancer diagnoses.

Diagnosed with stage four triple-negative breast cancer, single mother Saranne Rothberg knew she had to stay strong for her five-year-old daughter. So, she began incorporating comedy into their lives—even throwing herself a Chemo Comedy Party at her first treatment. Eventually, this led her to create a foundation, Comedy Cures, which brings humor to cancer patients around the world. 17 years later, her cancer remains in full remission.

Diagnosed with highly-fatal triple-negative breast cancer, Valencia Robinson used a combination of conventional medicine along with affirmations and positive spiritual books—including those by Louise Hay—to support her as she embarked on her healing journey. Thirteen years later, she remains cancer-free.
