Andalou Naturals Hair Products

Our hair is our crowning glory. It’s one of the first things people notice about you. Having healthy, glowing, and lustrous hair that frames our face perfectly is a desire of every woman. As we age, our hair can change in texture, strength, and thickness. It can be alarming to see volumes of hair falling out as we shampoo or comb our hair. We would do anything to nourish and strengthen our hair but sometimes we don’t know which products will give us our hoped-for results. How many products have we bought that says “results guaranteed”, only to end up taking up space in your bathroom because it did not work? Our hair is still flat, lifeless, thinning, and dull.

Andalou Naturals is an awesome company that creates mindful and effective products that are made from the best ingredients on the planet. Their products are gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and non-GMO. I got the opportunity to try out several of their hair care products that I’d love to share with you.

Their Age Defying Thinning Hair System was specifically created for those of us who are feeling the effects of age on our hair. It’s the boot camp for thinning hair! It’s a three-piece kit that includes the Argan Stem Cells Shampoo and Conditioner, and the Scalp Intensive. I will probably never tire of saying how divinely wonderful all of Andalou Natural products smell. The scent alone has me smitten. All three products are loaded with nourishing, fortifying, and replenishing ingredients, some of which I never heard of before. I’m happy this product is made from several herbal ingredients and found them effective.

My mom and I have both tried this kit and we concur that it’s one of the best we’ve used. What we found is that our scalps felt invigorated and moisturized. The Scalp Intensive is the little powerhouse that backs up the shampoo and conditioner. Every morning and evening you part your hair into sections and add just a few drops of the Scalp Intensive and gentle massage into your scalp. It’s a clear gel that absorbs very quickly into your skin and you leave it on to do its magic. The shampoo is refreshing and lightweight. Our hair looked and felt soft and velvety with lots of bounce. We also really like the conditioner, it didn’t make our hair gummy or weighed down with hair product. The biggest thing we noticed using this kit is that we had less hair falling out. It also gave us a volume boost that made our hair look not only thicker but so much healthier.

After shampooing and conditioning, styling your hair is equally as important. I live in a very windy part of the country and use a styling gel is a must. Andalou Naturals offer us their Sunflower & Citrus Styling Gel. This medium hold product has a host of attributes that are work will all kinds of hair textures. It adds extra body, hydrates, improves texture, and gives you a healthy shine to name a few. I had a lot more control over with my hair with this styling gel’s assistance. It worked well whether I blow-dried or let my hair naturally dry. It didn’t leave my hair sticky like some similar products I’ve used. It’s a must-have for any hair diva.

Another option is using a good styling spray. I personally need a product that offers full volume and control benefits to help me avoid the wild child look. The Lavender & Boitin full volume styling spray is fabulous. It not only pumps up the volume, but it also adds oodles of smooth and silky shine to the hair. After shampooing and conditioning your hair, you gingerly spritz your hair at the roots and allow it to dry. You’ll notice how effortless it is to style your hair and the added volume and lively spring to your tresses.

We also noticed that none of these products dried out our hair, it felt delightfully soft and lush. You only need a small amount of product to be effective. We both really like these products and would definitely recommend them for all hair types but especially for thin and or lifeless hair. They actually do what they claim and very affordable. Two thumbs up!!
