Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal LightWeight Litter
Decades ago, my daughter brought home a homeless kitten, and ever since then we’ve been adopting abandoned and abused cats. We love them very much and our hearts go out to all homeless animals. Please consider adopting a pet.
Over the years I’ve learned that felines are finicky creatures that take umbrage to any changes in their routine, be it their food or litter. My cats don’t like it when I change litter brands and a few have developed some bad behavior patterns; I won’t alarm you with the details. The problem is, the brand I was currently using wasn’t absorbing the litter odors very well, so regardless I had to make a change. I recently tried the Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal LightWeight for multi-cat homes, and I was impressed with its odor-absorbing qualities and its #LitterBoxLife.
Of course, the biggest critics are my four little divas. If they don’t like something, there is no convincing them. I knew that changing their litter might result in some consequences, but after curious inspection, they used the litter without any issues. I got their seal of approval. I can only imagine they liked the litter because it smelled and felt okay. It’s made with fine micro-particles, so it’s gentle on their paws.
I’m just as choosy as my cats. I want a safe brand that is dust-free and offers strong odor absorbing properties. I can’t tolerate either. I don’t like it when my cats come upstairs, and they’re covered in a film of dust. It’s not good for their health or ours. The Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal litter is 100% dust-free so no more big dust clouds when pouring or scooping. In using this litter, I’d say there was very minimal dust to deal with, plus the cats tracked way less litter throughout your home; almost none.
It’s also very embarrassing when family and friends come over, and they are embraced with pungent cat odors. I read that Arm & Hammer guarantees 7-day odor control, but with four cats I was leery. So many other brands claim this, but fall short. This brand has baking soda and moisture-activated micro-granules that form a tight seal around cat waste, so odors do not permeate or linger throughout your home. These heavy-duty attributes made me feel more confident that it will work, and it did for 7 days as guaranteed.
I also like how easy the Clump & Seal litter is to clean and that it has plant-derived particles that help create solid clumps for easy removal. My family and I had no trouble scooping up waste. We’re glad we’ll never have to deal with a crumbling mess again, which was time-consuming and we never got the litter box thoroughly clean. We are officially an #ArmAndHammerCat family.
Buying litter for four cats is a heavy chore; the bags weigh a ton and they usually tear. The Clump & Seal LightWeight is 50% lighter: each box contains the same amount of uses as regular Arm & Hammerâ„¢ cat litter at half the weight, thanks to lower-density micro-particles. These boxes are light enough that even kids can handle them.
Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal has everything I want in a litter. It’s frustration-free, easy to work with, my home smells fresh, and very importantly, my cats really like it. Various sizes are available at Walmart, Canadian Tire, and other big-box grocers.
