Calliope’s Roll For It Game

Leisure time with the family usually involves watching some of our favorite movies or playing games. We’ve got a cupboard full of various board and card games, but one of our very favorites is the spectacular Roll For It dice game! This game has been the superstar of many game nights. Calliope Games recently created a grander version called Roll For It Deluxe!

Roll For It! Deluxe

Roll For It Deluxe comes with a stunning embossed tin that contains 60 beautifully decorated cards, 48 vibrant colored dice and a logo detailed velvet bag. There are 30 cards with a gold trim and 30 with silver trim, and they can be mixed together to make one awesome game. In essence, the deluxe version is a combination of the red and purple versions in one. The version allows for more players, (2 – 8) and the more the merrier, right?

Roll For It! Deluxe Complete

To play the game, you shuffle the cards and lay out four. Each card will have its own unique combination of dice. The idea is to roll your dice, match the card exactly and start counting your points. It may take several tries to match the card, and your opponents just might beat you to the punch. Each roll presents the player with new opportunities and fun decisions to make. The rules say that the person with 40 points wins the game, but we play until all the cards are used, and then we count to see who scored the most. This way of playing works for us!

Roll for it! RedRoll for it Purple

Roll For It regular versions is available in two versions, red and purple. They each come with 30 Roll For It cards and 24 translucent dice ( 6 dice in 4 colors). The same rules apply as the deluxe version.

All versions are a blast to play and a big hit at parties and get-togethers. They’re compact and portable so you can take them anywhere you go. Aside from family functions, we’ve also played Roll For It at the airport, in the car, at school, in hotels, while camping, and at picnics. They suggest the game be played from ages eight and up, but kids are brilliant and pick up on the rules quickly. We’ve had six and seven-year-old kiddos playing; they get it! Roll For It is a perfect family game, and we’re glad to have all three versions. If you’re looking for a new game, I highly recommend them!
