I’ve only been using an electric toothbrush for a few years because I didn’t think they would make a difference. I was so wrong. In my opinion, they can make a world of difference to the health of your gums and teeth. The Modes

The cariPRO Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrush can flex its vibrational power with five different modes, Clean, White, Massage, Gum Care and Sensitive. Each has its own power and purpose.

Clean – The clean mode is the first option on the toothbrush and would be deemed the basic setting for most users to start with. It vibrates faster and can be harsh on the gums, so go gently.

White – The white mode is the second setting option and it’s revved up in high gear to vigorously powerwash your pearly whites. It’s intended to remove stains and deep clean. It’s not a mode I would use daily as it’s rough on your gums.

Massage – The Massage mode stimulates your gums with a pulsating vibration. Just hold it very gently along your gumline and allow it to work its magic. This brief massage can be done once or twice a week and partnered with one of the cleaning modes.

Gum Care – This is my favorite mode. It offers a gentle oscillation and pulsations along your gumline. It actually feels really nice and it’s so good for the health of your gums.

Sensitive – Just as the name suggests, this mode is for those who have sensitive teeth or are not able to tolerate the stronger cleaning modes. It’s gentler and has a slower vibration, making it kinder on the gums. I think a lot of people will prefer this mode and use it the most.

The Attributes

The DuPont bristles don’t rotate per se but oscillate at 40,000 vibrations per minute, giving you a lot of powerful cleaning action. The Premium Electric Toothbrush Heads are angled and tufted so they can get into all the crevices, go along the gum line and clean the surface of your teeth thoroughly. The head is also rubberized to protect your tooth enamel from any friction and damage. And the back of the brush head has a textured surface that is ideal for scraping your tongue.

It’s recommended that you use gentle strokes and hold the brush on a 45° angle for best results. Regardless of the cleaning mode you choose, each is designed to run for two minutes. It has an auto-interval smart timer, so you’ll feel a vibrational burst every 30 seconds which is your cue to move on to the next quadrant of teeth. The cariPRO’s streamlined granite body is ergonomic and has a soft velvety quality that is comfortable to hold, even for children. The buttons require gentle pressure and toggle easily to the different modes. Importantly, this unit is waterproof so it can be used in the shower or bath if desired.

Another great attribute is that once the cariPRO is fully charged, it has a 30-day battery life. It’s not necessary to keep the charging dock on your counter, especially if you have limited space. The charge indicator light will turn red informing you it’s time to recharge.

Regarding the charging dock itself, travelers will be impressed! With 100-240v ~ 50/60Hz it works internationally. My family and I love to travel to Europe often and we actually have a drawer full of adaptors that fit specific countries. It’s frustrating when they don’t work, or you forgot them. How nice that this is not required with the cariPRO.

A significant feature is the price of the cariPRO units. Most electric toothbrushes will cost you hundreds of dollars, which is why I think a lot of families opt for manual toothbrushes. It’s a financial burden to pay $250 and up for an electric toothbrush. But, the cariPRO Ultrasonic Electric Toothbrushes are budget-friendly. My Thoughts

I’ve had sensitive teeth ever since I was a little kid. As an adult, I still struggle to find a comfort zone with electric toothbrushes. I tried each of the cariPRO modes and for me, most of them were too harsh, even the sensitive mode. I enjoyed the Gum Care mode though, it offers a gentle vibration that felt nice along the gum line. I must mention a huge positive, if you have any porcelain crowns, the cariPRO will clean them very well. It worked much better than my current brand.

My husband, on the other hand, loved everything about this electric toothbrush. Our current brand only has 3 modes, so he enjoyed the five different modes cariPRO offers. He felt it did a meticulous job cleaning his teeth, massaging his gums and he appreciated the tongue scraper option. He also liked that it stays charged for 30 days as the other brand only stays charged for one week.
