Crafting is My Jam Books
I’ve been knitting and crocheting since I was a small child. My mom had a yarn store and I grew up surrounded by every possible weight and color of yarn. I became addicted to crafting with these various yarns very easily and quickly. That addiction never ended and I’m still very much in love with knitting and crocheting. Crafting is my jam!
I always have several projects on the go and it makes me happy. It’s the therapy and zen space I need after a stressful day or situation. Sometimes I’ll just thumb through my craft books looking for some fun patterns to make. But I’m always on the prowl for new books, especially during the holidays season. Knitters and crocheters, whether newbies or experienced love getting new craft books. I found two books that any crafter would love to have in their collection.
Crochet Stitch Sampler Baby Blankets

The Crochet Stitch Sampler Baby Blankets book is great for beginners. It features 30 darling patterns with a variety of stitches, motifs, techniques, and textures. Some of the stitches included are the bobble, criss-cross, cable, post stitch, puff, moss, shells, box stitch, clusters, star stitch, and many more!
Each pattern features clear and easy-to-understand instructions along with an abundance of bright, bold, and colorful images. There are a few patterns that also include a chart, but everyone has a delightful little baby or toddler modeling each blanket. Some of the patterns you can create are Snuggle-Buggle Baby Blanket, Cupcake Squares Blanket, Canterbury Bells, Blossom Motif Baby Blanket, Half-Pint Blanket, and many more.
Babies and toddlers love their blankies and become emotionally attached to them. These blankets offer children comfort and security so we want to make them as enchanting as possible. I like that you can use one or several colors in most of these patterns. It’s a great way to use up single balls of colorful yarn and create a potential heirloom.

Beginner knitters are always eager to make something to be proud of and experienced knitters are just as happy to broaden their skills. What I love about this book is that every design is crafted on a 4-stitch multiple, stitch pattern.
