Curious George Box of Books

Curious George is a cute little orphaned monkey that we have adored since 1941. Numerous books have been written about George sporting his escapades, mischievous behavior, and wild adventures. He’s a rascal, he’s playful and he usually leaves a trail of mayhem behind him. But, I think that is why children absolutely love him.

I remember when I was a little kid, my mom brought home a Curious George book and I was smitten, enthralled. I couldn’t put the book down, I wanted to read right to the end. Things were no different in my home, I had several Curious George books in our family library that were well-loved and read over and over.

Curious George books are classics and will no doubt be around for many generations to come. These stories are continually adapted for kids with updated looks and appealing graphics. This year they released a boxed set of four concept books for preschool and kindergarten-aged children.

Curious George

This attractive boxed set is bursting with lots of bright and cheerful colors, and four fun-filled Curious George concept board books that will harness preschooler’s attention and invite them to be curious. Kids want to open the covers and are eager to explore each page. Curious George ignites children’s interest allows their imaginations to run wild while learning. Each book is engaging and examines one of four different concepts:

  • ABCs
  • Are You Curious?
  • Opposites
  • 1 to 10 and Back Again

ABC’s showcases the alphabet from A-Z. Each letter features an animal or one or two objects starting with a specific letter. For example, E is an Elephant Eating Eggs! The graphics are colorful, interesting, and fun for kids to explore and learn from.

Are You Curious? is learning about and exploring different feelings and emotions with Curious George demonstrating each one. Do you ever feel happy? Are you sometimes loud? Kids can express what these emotions mean to them and learn each concept deeper.

Opposites teach kids some of the basic opposites. George climbs UP, then he jumps DOWN. They will also learn forward and backward, wet and dry, in and out, closed and open, and awake and asleep. Curious George can do them all.

1 to 10 and Back Again teaches toddlers not only how to count from 1 – 10, but how easily it is to count backward from 10 – 1. Each number has different subjects from kids to count, like 2 dinosaurs, 3 tasty donuts, and so on.

Kids love learning with Curious George. He’s cute, he’s fun, he’s interesting and he’s an excellent teacher. Kids want to learn and are keen to get right into his next book. I love these books because they’re sturdy, easy to hold, and a breeze to clean off sticky prints. They’re ideal for any family library.
