Dippity Do’s New Girls With Curls Line
I’m a girly girl and I love all that is fancy and frou-frou, and that includes my hair. I’m not one for straight and lanky hair, it doesn’t suit the shape of my face or my personality. I have odd combination hair, it’s curly on the bottom, wavy in the center, and uber straight on top. Trying to find a product that will enhance and maintain a curly look is challenging. Some products are heaving and filmy and weigh my hair down and really don’t do anything to complement my style. Recently, I was introduced to a new line by the iconic style makers, dippity-do called Girls With Curls!
I can remember when I was a kid, my mom using the pink and green dippity do goo on her hair. I didn’t realize their products were still around and now even more advanced. This new line is sulfate and paraben free and enriched with oodles of moisturizing ingredients like natural Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Aloe and Vitamin E, that will leave your hair supple, soft and shiny.
Curl Shampoo & Curl Conditioner This dynamic duo will leave your hair clean and gleaming. The shampoo will zealously clean and gently moisturize your hair without stripping it of its natural oils. It has a rich, creamy lather and a gorgeous scent that’s delightful. The conditioner is lightweight and leaves your hair nourished, tamed and velvety soft. It also fortifies, enhances, and helps heal split ends. I liked how awesome these products are on my frizzy and wild hair. They calmed and subdued my disheveled hair so I could style without effort and don a trendy do. I really love the soft feel of my hair and the super shine that makes my tresses glow with a healthy aura.
The Curl Defining Cream is a lightweight leave-in product that helps you style and primp your hair. You really don’t need much, just a little dab and work it through your damp hair. It’s perfect for thick and medium hair. I found it worked awesome keeping static under control. I’ve even put a little on my hair after it’s dried and curled to manage those pesky static flyaways.
The Deep Treatment is serious about conditioning. It’s an ultra-thick cream that offers a perfect solution for tangled and frazzled hair. I like to leave it on for about 15 minutes or so, so it can moisturize and soothe. I have frizzy hair on the sides, only the sides actually, so if I don’t control it I will end up looking like Crusty the Clown, not cool at all. I noticed how easy my hair was to comb out after using this product, no knots, no snags, no fuss, and no tears. My hair feels so smooth, supple, and satiny after each use.
The Curl Shaping Gelee is so awesome, I think it’s the product that offers fun besides curl manageability. It’s a cool raspberry colored gel that you can use on either damp or dry hair. I add a little just and scrunch all over to define my curls. It adds immense shine and flexibility to your curls.
I love the look, the feel and the fabulous styling results I got from using this line. So if you find yourself suffering from dippity do-odle-itis…. (lackluster hair) your prescription awaits you. P.S. if you find you have kiddos who might not be as hair active as they should be, these products will inspire them. The color, the scent and the outcome speak for themselves.
