EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale
Every January I make a decision to start the new year with a better attitude and more commitment to my overall health. Many of us make New Year’s resolutions but it’s really unrealistic to believe that one specific day will be a turning point in our lives. It’s not so much as starting a new diet or exercise program as it is making healthier lifestyle changes that will stick with us forever. Also having the right tools can be really motivating.
One item that is essential to monitor our progress is a bathroom scale. EatSmart Products carries scales for the kitchen, luggage and the bathroom. One of their popular weight scales is the Precision Digital Bathroom Scale.
This chic 21 century looking scale has a multitude of attributes. It’s neoteric design of steel and tempered glass will blend into any bathroom decor.
A lot of thought went into creating the Precision Digital Scale. With its “Step-On” Technology you simply step on and you get a reading instantly. I have an older scale that I have to tap and wait for a horizontal line to appear which can take a few seconds and then when I step on it, it will still take about 5 – 10 seconds to get a reading.
I love the large crisp sky blue color 3.5″ LCD display screen. The numbers are black, big and bold so you can see your weight results quickly (whether it’s good or bad). The platform is quite large and sturdy, 12″ x 13″ so there is lots of room to stay balanced. It can tolerate up to 400 lbs and will read any bodyweight changes in 0.2 lb/.1 kg increments so it’s quite sensitive. It has 4 high precision sensors making sure you get an accurate and consistent reading all the time. If you’re like me, you will get on the scale a second or third time hoping/praying for a different number to appear and with some scales, it will be different. With the Precision Digital scale, you will get the same reading.
It’s a universal scale being that it can be programmed to read in Kilos, Pounds, and Stones. I haven’t seen any other scales offering this feature. It takes 4 AAA batteries to operate and has an energy-conserving shutoff.
Other features that are important is the scale itself is quite light weighing only 4 lbs. It’s also very budget-friendly. Some quality scales can cost upward of $100 so this scale will not put a strain on your resources. It’s really a great bargain.
I really like using this scale even though I’ve gained a few pounds over the holidays. Getting back on track is quickly rewarded with even the tiniest weight loss. Even losing 0.2 lbs is progress and is keeping me motivated and a lot more enthusiastic about continuing on a healthy path. I give the thumbs on this scale!
