Electrolux Ergorapido Vacuum
There’s a lot of excitement, joy, and wide-eyed wonder in the festive air as everyone is getting ready for the most wonderful time of the year. Currently, I have a lot of baking get-togethers with some family members in anticipation of our numerous holiday parties and functions over the next month or so. Baking with kids and even adults can be messy and as you know, accidents happen. After the baking is done, we love to sit down and have tea and taste test the delectable treats we just made. No matter how neat we are or try to be, crumbs always seem to end up on the floor and the rug.
Cleaning and sweeping up flour dust, oatmeal, and crumbs off the floor with a broom is so redundant and ineffective. I usually bring out my big clunky vacuum and clean up the mess but it usually too late as these crumbs and sprinkles have been tracked around the home. Having a small and handy vacuum would be ideal and I have just the product.
The Electrolux ErgoRapido is the cutest and handiest little vacuum on the market. It offers power, performance and practicality. It has a host of attributes that would make bigger models blush. This 2-in-1 is one of the simplest, easiest, and most versatile vacuums I’ve used.
The first thing you will notice is it’s lightweight and has a lovely svelte figure. There is no pain for strain pushing this little darling around. Another great feature is there are no bags to worry about. It contains a dust cup that you simply clean out after each use. This cuts down on waste and expense. Big plus!
Another attribute is it’s cordless. In the past, I have vacuumed over my vacuum cord damaging it. Cords are cumbersome and I’m also constantly moving it to get it out of the way which impedes my workflow, my cleaning groove. Many times I have to unplug and replug it in a different outlet because the cord only goes so far. I’ve also tripped over my cord so they can be somewhat hazardous. Having this cordless vacuum gives you so much more freedom. I absolutely love this feature.
The vacuum sits/rests on a charging station that can be left on the floor or mounted on the wall. There is a blue indicator light below the off/on switch that will flash when the vacuum is fully charged. It runs on 12 Volts of power and there are two speeds, low and high. I found if I have the vacuum on high speed it will last for about 20 – 25 minutes and about 15 minutes longer on low speed. So it gives you plenty of time to spruce up your home quickly. You will have to put the vacuum on the recharging station after each use to keep its power up to snuff.
One of the best features is the BrushRollClean technology. After you vacuum you step on the BrushRollClean button for no more than 30 seconds. This action starts a process where a little blade cleans the hair off the roller brush. The hairs are cut and sucked up into the dust cup. This is great for pet hair but if you have thicker fibers or wire you will have to remove roller, which comes out very easily, to clean it off. The brushroll head also swivels making it more user-friendly to get in corners. It worked really well on rugs and fabulous on floors. The different surfaces didn’t seem to affect its suction.
The Ergorapido also comes with a detachable handheld vacuum which is part of the main body. There are two buttons located next to the 2-in-1 arrow indicators. You press the two buttons together and the handheld is released. It comes with two attachments which are used for upholstery and drapes. It’s also great for getting into nooks and crannies making it very versatile. I’ve used it during and after our baking parties and I love it. I don’t have to pull out my big and noisy vacuum anymore. The Ergorapido is indispensable; when we spill or drop something, it’s cleaned up immediately.
I feel very confident that this holiday season will be a lot neater and quieter with the Electrolux ErgoRapido on hand. Happy Holidays!
