Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban Illustrated Book
With Spring Break so close, kids are looking forward to slowing things down and doing relaxing and leisurely things they enjoy. It affords them the opportunity to watch their favorite movies and read their all-time favorite books. Harry Potter is a big hit in my family. We have several sets of his books and they are well read. A few years back they started coming out with illustrated versions of a few of the books. The newest release is Harry Potter the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Wouldn’t we all love to receive an owl invitation and experience being a student at Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry? Most of the Harry Potter books though don’t have visual illustrations that describe scenes from the interpretive pages. We have to use our imagination or recall images from the movies. In the Illustrated versions, you’ll get an artists perspective that will add a whole new dimension to the story.
As you embark on this story, the pages will come alive with the beautiful graphics. You’ll feel like you’re there and part of the scene. Remember Aunt Marge? She the corpulent sister of Uncle Dursley, who has hated Harry right from the get-go. The kids thought it was wonderful to see a vivid image of someone so mean get blown up and drift away. Great detail was given to all the critters – human and not – that roam the Hogwarts grounds like the Werewolf, Grindylow, Snape, Voldemort and even the student’s pets as well.
Who of us wouldn’t want a Marauders Map of our own? The minutiae on this map are shared and you can see the whole layout of the school. It’s pretty awesome! Don’t forget to say Mischief Managed.
The illustrated versions are a keepsake, collector’s pieces that will magically transport you into the world of Harry Potter. The pages are a lot thicker than the standard books and have a lovely sheen to them. The book is meant to last for the next generation of muggles.
