The holiday season is a great time for families to converge and catch up on the past year and reminisce about the good old days. Very often family members only get to see each other once or twice a year, so they make the best and most out of Christmas. For us, it’s spending time doing fun activities and no holiday would be complete without a stack of Hasbro games.

Aside from playing our favorite Hasbro games, we are always adding to our collection. This year we’ve added the new Ms. Monopoly and Raising Hell. Check them out.

Ms. Monopoly game

Monopoly is one of the most played board games of all time. There have been many different versions of this classic game over the years, but none of them have had a woman as a mascot. Meet the niece of Mr. Monopoly, aka rich Uncle Pennybags, Ms. Monopoly. She’s a self-made investment expert and all about empowering women. She actually prefers to invest in female entrepreneurs.

In Ms. Monopoly, women earn the big bucks. In fact, they earn more money than men. To start the game, women are given $1900 and men $1500. When players pass go, the women get $240 and men get $200. Instead of buying property, players can invest in or buy up investments and game-changers brought about by women in history. Some of these include WiFi, chocolate chip cookies and bullet-proof vests. Instead of building houses, players can build headquarters. The Community Chest cards pay more to men for their support of successful females. Plus there are a few other surprises. There are a few people who will bash this game, But that’s it, it’s just a game, don’t take it personally. You can pick up this Hasbro game on Amazon. Recommended for ages 8+ and retails for $25.

Hasbro Raising Hell game

While Monopoly is a blast to play with the kids, sometimes adults need a time out to enjoy a game intended for grown-ups only. Enter Raising Hell. The game comes with 72 Photo Cards and 300 Caption Cards. The photos feature kid in silly predicaments, like little girls using mommy’s lipstick as face paint.

Here’s how the game works. It’s best to have a group of friends and each of them will take their turn at being a judge. Each player draws 7 caption cards. The judge draws a photo card and each player will share what they feel is the best caption from their pile. The judge makes the final call on the best caption and the winner keeps the card. The person with the most cards at the end is the winner. It’s a hilarious game that gives adults the freedom to be silly. You can snatch this Hasbro game up on Amazon for $24.95.
