Every illness in your body is affected by emotional factors in your life. For some, this is a hard concept to wrap their minds around. When we are absorbed deeply in one or more emotions, it sends ripples of positive or negative vibrations throughout every single cell in our body. So, if we were to emit sadness continually, an organ or complete system can be harshly affected, leaving us with a mild to critical health conditions. Connecting an illness and emotion can be liberating; knowing the source of our health issues can help us to undo the harm we’ve created. There are several books on the market that can guide us in this area, and I found a few that I deem as valuable resources.
All is Well, Heal Your Body with Medicine, Affirmations, and Intuition, is co-written by two powerhouse authors, to help us understand how we can heal our bodies through medicine and the various avenues of the metaphysical.
Before we even get ill, our bodies were sending us signals that all is not well. Learning to tap into our bodies intuition to interpret these messages is key to sustaining homeostasis.
The book is beautifully composed; you can take the health quiz at the onset of the book as your starting point or can look up your illness and start from there. There are seven Emotional Centers; each covers various organs, glands, systems, and illnesses. There are several case study’s that you can glean insight from and get an idea of the impact our lives and emotions can have on our bodies.
Heal Your Body has been around for decades and is a must-have companion to All is Well. This version is the 67 edition; it’s constantly being updated as new additions, insights and cross-referencing.
Each health problem is accompanied by a cause and a new thought pattern or affirmation. For instance, if you have Acne, the cause is ‘Not accepting the self. Dislike of the self.’ The new thought pattern offered is ‘I am a Divine expression of life. I love and accept myself where I am right now.’ It’s suggested that you repeat this affirmation for a month to replace your old thought patterns that are not serving you.
Both books are very informative and offer you hope to those searching for answers and avenues of healing. I’d highly recommend getting both books, they compliment each other perfectly.
