It’s mid-August and already some trees have started to change colors slightly. Although autumn is my favorite time of year, it’s sad to say goodbye to the warmth of summer and prepare ourselves for a frosty winter. But, on the other hand, it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up some knitting projects and get ready for the holiday season. Even though I’m addicted to crocheting, I also love to pick up my knitting needles and create some treasured wearables. Knitted items are soft and cozy and keep us toasty warm on cold days. That being said, I love to find new patterns and stitches to add some variety to my projects. The directions are so clear and detailed, especially with the Point Lessons. Each step is laid out for you in written and photo tutorial instructions. You simply cannot go wrong. Each stitch features a full-color image, a chart, and of course the point lessons.

There is also a page that shares the yarns used in these projects so you can duplicate the same outcome. The projects range from easy to advanced, although there is no gauge or symbol that determines the skill level for each one. All the patterns are fun and offer you the ability to run wild with them.
