LegArt Leggings
I’ve been wearing leggings for several decades now and have witnessed their popularity take a quantum leap. At first, the fashion gods and social media critics chimed in a lot of should and should not rule on how to wear leggings, once deemed a temporary trend. But today that has completely changed. Leggings have proven their longevity and have demonstrated that they can be worn in a variety of social situations.
Leggings are athleisurewear, activewear, and fashionwear all blended into one comfortable piece of clothing. When I started wearing leggings, there weren’t a lot of choices in colors or styles to select from, but that has all changed thanks to companies like LegArt Apparel.
LegArt Apparel is a Canadian company that carries a huge variety of vivid and pastel solids, bold prints, and snazzy patterns in legging, capris, yoga pants, and joggers. Aside from women, they also carry a fabulous selection for children. Plus, they have some really attractive Mommy and Me sets that you can assemble by choosing the same print.
I was impressed with all the choices they offer, I’d love all of them. Plus, I noticed they thought of all sizes. They are one of the few Canadian companies that carry plus size leggings in the same prints and patterns as the regular sizes.
Children’s Leggings
They have a lot of attributes that are appealing when looking for comfortable athleisurewear. Their non-fading fabric is made up of 92% polyester and 8% spandex so the garments will be easy to care for and won’t shrink. The fabric immensely soft and has a plush velvety texture. They also have a super stretch so there is no binding, riding or chafing.
Print Leggings
The LegArt Leggings are a lot softer than the brand I currently wear, plus all mine have faded quite a bit. I got so used to a harsher fabric, that it feels unbelievably nice to have softer leggings against the skin. Black is a very popular color because they go so well with everything. As a rule, I wear black leggings, but I’m venturing out into vibrant and cheerful prints. But, they also have more subtle tones and prints for those not so adventurous.
My daughter loves them and wears them almost 24/7. She’s worn them with a tee-shirt, sweatshirt, long shirt, under a dress with heels and out running. I blush to say this, but yes, she has even worn them to sleep because they are so comfy.
They’re vibrant colors and prints add some serious splash to the average wardrobe and they’re easy to mix and match with your fashion accessories. In a word, they are a very versatile garment.
Although their fabric is durable, LegArt recommends washing their leggings inside out, either by hand or on a delicate cycle in a machine, and then hang to dry. This is great advice for those unsure of how to take care of their leggings. I’m too lazy to wash my leggings by hand, so I’ve always washed them on the gentle cycle and they turn out fine. If you follow this simple advice, your garment will look better, last longer, and keep their shape and color.
Capri Leggings
If I had one issue with the LegArt leggings, is that they are made for average height women. I’m tall and I have a 32-inch inseam, so I have to shop at specialty stores. It would be great if they had a tall girl section. I found LegArt leggings fit really nice and feel great, they’re just too short for my stature.
Ordering was easy, but they run out of sizes or prints very quickly. I had to wait for certain colors and styles to be restocked. In some cases, the pattern was discontinued. So, if you see a print or pattern you like, don’t hesitate to order before they’re sold out, especially with Christmas approaching. These leggings would make great holiday gifts for the girls in your family.
