Let’s-Go Construction Set
On any given day I can have up to 5 or 6 little family members visiting my home. They range in age from one year to 18 years old. I love hanging out and playing with them and we try to have as much fun as possible.
I personally love toys that inspire kids to use their imagination and creativity. I recently had the opportunity to review the Let’s-Go Construction set by CP Toys and I knew the kids were going to love it.
The Let’s-Go Construction comes in an awesome bright orange carrying case with a huge R288 construction vehicle on the front. I learned that R288 means the size of tires on the vehicle which is massive. Immediately the kids were impressed with the appearance of the case and were anxious to open it. When the case was opened, the little guys were squeaking with utter joy. The set has 32 pieces of construction equipment which include vehicles, barricades, cones and even people. Each piece is approximately 3 inches in size and has its own compartment in the case.
The pieces are made from a durable die-cast and plastic material that is going to endure the many adventures yet to come in the future. This set is perfect for ages 3 and up.
Watching the kids play with the set I was soon impressed by how they instinctively knew what the pieces of equipment did. Soon my junior engineers had a construction site and roadblocks set up in the living room. Each of the 12 pieces of equipment has moving parts that actually work so the kids can literally dig in and have fun.
Each piece is made with great detail and is very realistic looking. There are lights, numbers, reflective caution signs and ladders that you see on real equipment. The wheels are sized to scale and turn easily and smoothly. These toys have been played with inside, outside in the mud and in the bath with no side effects. After weeks of use, these little pieces are standing the test of overtime. So far all the pieces are intact and working perfectly.
I love that at the end of the day the pieces can be put back neatly in their case for safekeeping. It’s a great set that keeps the kids entertained for hours while encouraging them to use their skills, instincts, and creativity.
