Lug Pontoon Bag

Traveling any time of year requires a lot of forethought into the kind of carry on or handbag you want to take. For me having a bag that is extremely functional, lightweight, and multi-purpose is vital. Have you ever seen people get on the plane with 3 or 4 heavy but little carry on bags? They bang everyone on the head down the aisle in an effort to find overhead storage. I do not and will not travel this way. There are products out there that can make your life and trip more enjoyable.

Lug is a really cool company that provides us their super-smart bags. What does that mean? It means a lot of wheel turning and contemplation went into the design and functionality of their products, and I adore them. When I travel I want a bag that is practical and stylish at the same time. I found it in their new arrivals, the Lug Pontoon horizontal cross-body bag.

The Pontoon bag is so versatile and can be used as a shoulder strap purse or a cross-body bag. I prefer the cross-body as most straps slip off my shoulders to easily. With the cross-body style, your hands are free and your bag is very secure.

The Pontoon bag is extremely lightweight and has oodles of compartments. It can easily accommodate all your essentials for traveling or even just shopping. The back of the bag as a zipper compartment that is quite large where you can put your travel itinerary and maps, boarding passes, a book or a magazine. On the left side of the bag, there is a water bottle holder, it was so well hidden I hardly noticed it. You could also use this space for a small umbrella as well. The front flap has magnetic closures that are easy to open yet strong enough to keep closed. The inside is so cleverly designed and I was able to carry everything I needed for one of my trips.

Upon opening the flap you will be greeted by a small zipped compartment ideal for change. The compartment is also secured by a zipper. It offers a large space travel needs and has two pen holders. There’s also a perfect cubbyhole for your cell phone which is all snuggled in between this and the next compartment. The next area is your main compartment that includes two pouches, a small zipper compartment, and ample room for your wallet, notebook, etc. Lastly, there is a special hidden zippered area just for your iPad or Tablet. It’s lined with an uber soft fabric so your electronic devices are safe from bangs, bumps, and scratches.

The fabric is completely waterproof and so easy to keep clean. A wet cloth will take off any dirt or splashes that manifested on your trip. The only thing I noticed and didn’t care for was that the fabric attracted lint. It comes in 6 awesome colors! All in all the Lug Pontoon bag is a winner and a keeper. It’s also a great gift idea.
