Mauk Family Farms started out as a grower and nursery of organic herbs, tomatoes, baby greens, sprouts, and wheatgrass. But when the founder was diagnosed with Celiac Disease and an allergy to wheat, the company took on a new perspective, a new direction. They’ve now been creating certified organic crusts and crisps for 12 years. All of their seeds and grouts have been germinated and dehydrated at 105 degrees, in doing so, preserving all of their enzymes and vitality. All their products are USDA Organic, Grain-Free, Gluten-Free, and Vegan.
The Crusts come in three varieties, Raw Breakfast, Raw Wheat Free and Raw Mineral Rich.
The Crusts are full of various kinds of seeds, like brown and golden flax seeds, sesame seeds, etc., but each variety has its own unique recipe that includes some fruit, seaweed, or seasonings. They can be used as a sandwich base, or they go great with salads or soups. I like them alone; they’re delicious, filling, and good for a quick snack.
The Crisps are wafer-thin crackers made with raw flax seeds. They come in four flavors, Onion & Cumin, Garlic & Parsley, Hickory & Paprika, and Jalapeno. I confess I’m addicted to these, the flavors are divine and oh so savory.
They’re on the fragile side, so they break easily. I love them on my salad, but I’ve also added them to my homemade hummus, guacamole, and salsa. They add that zing that can turn ordinary food into an extraordinary dish. We love these.

Now we’re getting into the realm of the sublime. The Cocomo Joe products are beyond delicious. They have a healthy vision and philosophy. They not only create high-quality organic foods, but they also believe that food is life. Be good to your body, ingest quality foods, eat mindfully, eat slow, chew well, and importantly, love yourself.
They have three flavors of granola, Egg Nog, Cranberry, and my uber favorite Chocolate Milk. Each formula is filled with 100% organic oats, fruit, and several other wholesome ingredients. I have a few family members who just will not eat granola, but they were willing to try this brand. They loved the freshness, and how rich and natural the flavors combinations tasted. Now, they’re hooked. I added some to my green smoothies, it creates texture and pumps up the flavor volume. It’s great on its own, or you can add a sprinkle on your cereal, fruit, and yogurt. Oh, it’s so yummy!
The Cocomo Joebars are filled with ingredients that nourish your body and elate your spirit. You just can’t imagine biting into one of these bars believing they are so good for you. The main ingredient is the miraculous coconut, which they’ve combined with organic nuts, berries, chia seeds, maca powder, vanilla extract, coffee, figs, and more to create oodles of different flavors. There isn’t one flavor that didn’t appeal to me or my family, although I liked the mango and chocolate flavors. They are soft, chewy, supple, and taste so good. They’re perfect for a snack or breakfast replacement. They’re individually wrapped so they can be tossed into your purse, gym bag, backpack, pocket, or briefcase. Their dense and give you so much energy, you can go for hours on one of these bars.
