Morrocco Method Strengthen

When it comes to hair care you’ll find a plethora of varied attitudes from women universally. Some are notoriously fussy while others are laissez-faire about the products they use. Personally, I make the time and effort to find high-quality eco-friendly products. We really don’t have far to look. Morrocco Method provides us with the world’s finest hair care essentials we could possibly need.

If you’ve read my posts, it’s no secret that I adore this company. All their products are wildcrafted, raw, vegan, and gluten-free. Their products do more than just cleanse, they are also designed to both lovingly nourish and gently detoxify your hair and body.

I recently had the pleasure of test-driving their Strengthen Package which includes the Pine Shale Shampoo and Diamond Crystal Mist Moisturizer and Conditioner.

None of their products contain any chemicals, toxins, or detergents; you get pure plant botanicals that are so wholesome you could eat them. They know that harmful ingredients can cause hair, scalp, and ultimately health problems. If you’ve never used shampoo without detergent it may seem a little daunting at first. You may tend to overuse product thinking more is better. Not so! Morrocco Method shampoos are highly concentrated so you don’t need very much. I use about the size of a quarter on my hair and then rinse and repeat, but I have short hair. The amount used is reflective on how much hair you have and you’ll learn to gauge this in time.

Sometimes I will massage the shampoo on my hair and scalp and leave it on for the day and rinse off in the evening. My hair is uber soft and clean afterward. I can actually feel and see the difference in the texture of my hair when I follow their recommendations to shampoo twice. Why do we need to shampoo twice? The first shampoo removes dirt, dead cells, and dust. The second shampoo is for cleansing and also for massaging your hair and scalp which stimulates the flow of blood to the scalp and opens the hair follicles, allowing the blood vessels to feed each root, bulb, and hair shaft.

The Pine Shampoo is divine. It has an earthy/herbal scent that’s tranquil and calming to the senses. It’s packed with oodles of salubrious ingredients like kelp, green tea, aloe, and apple cider vinegar, shale oil, and pine oil essence which work harmoniously to nourish and heal your hair and scalp. I’ve used other products that weigh my hair down or make it look and feel greasy. My hair always feels and looks healthy after using this shampoo. It’s wonderful to use a product that lives up to its promise. They carry 5 different shampoos based on the principles of the 5 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether) that we alternate for healthy glowing hair.

The Diamond Crystal Mist Conditioner/Moisturizer is a great product to use regardless of your hair type. It’s so user-friendly. You spray and leave on wet or dry hair, that’s it. No timing, no rinsing, no fuss. You only need a couple of spritzes of the product and you’re ready to style. It contains highly energized liquid crystals from the Himalayan Mountains of India, natural herbs, and rare oils that smooth your hair, leaving it feeling velvety soft and smooth. It honestly does leave your hair silky and luxuriously soft.

Many of you may or may not have heard about the Lunar Chart. It’s an awesome chart that offers 5 optimal dates for specific hair goals. For instance, if you want your hair to grow thicker, it’s suggested you have your hair cut on November 11 or 12th. That’s a coincidence as I’m scheduled to have my hair cut on the 12th. Incidentally, if you want your hair to be beautiful for the holidays, Dec 9th and 10th are the prime dates. There are many people who swear by this chart. It’s a beautiful chart and a lot of fun to use. Check it out.
