Nourish Organic Skincare

When we think of nourishing our bodies the first thing that comes to mind is our diet. We are careful and conscious of what nutritional foods and fluids we ingest. The same consideration should be given to our skin. We should be conscious of what we put on our skin because it’s absorbed into our bodies and it can affect our well-being.

Nourish Organic Food For Healthy Skin was founded more than a decade ago because they wanted to create beauty products that were chemical-free, eco-friendly and made from the purest organic fruits and vegetables available. Their products are also cruelty-free, gluten-free, and mostly vegan.

They carry an array of different products that are designed to nourish and nurture our skin. I’m a lotions and potions kinda gal and I love beautifully scented skin care products. I chose to test drive their Fresh Fig Collection and I was really delighted. First I must say I absolutely love the scent. I’ve never tried a fig scented product before so this was new for me and I found this line so captivating and pleasant. I will never tire of the scent. The collection comes with 5 products, Fresh & Natural Organic Deodorant, Hydrating & Soothing Organic Body Lotion, Moisturizing Cream Organic Body Wash, Skin-Softening Organic Body Butter, and Ultra-Moisturizing Organic Hand Wash.

Fresh & Natural Organic Deodorant is really wonderful. I have a family member who always seems to get a rash on their underarms every summer so they’re sensitive to all products and can’t wear deodorant because it’s irritating and painful. They used the Nourish Organic Fig deodorant and were thrilled. It’s a creamy gentle stick deodorant that’s smooth to apply and feels soothing when on. Most importantly, it works incredibly well. It kept them dry and comfortable during the super hot days; no sweat, no pain, no worries. We’ve since ordered more.

Hydrating & Soothing Organic Body Lotion has a really nice formula. It’s made with copious nutritional ingredients including aloe, essentials oils, comfrey root extract and Vitamin E to name a few. I love this lotion, it really quenches your skin perfectly. I use it on my hands on a daily basis and I find it quite gentle and hydrating. I also really like that it’s not greasy.

Moisturizing Cream Organic Body Wash is so gentle and soothing. It has a nice lather that mildly cleanses the body leaving it feeling tingly and fresh. My skin feels really soft and silky after using this body wash. It contains organic coconut oil which is so moisturizing for the skin. I also like that it does not contain any artificial fragrances, just the lovely scent of Fresh Figs.

Skin-Softening Organic Body Butter is probably my favorite products. It’s so thick and rich and feels so lovely on the skin. I don’t like to wear socks or shoes during the summer so ultimately I look like I have hobbit or circus feet. They get really dry and rough and really unattractive. The Fig Fresh Body Butter works wonders for seriously dry skin. It contains shea, coconut oil, and olive oils that work harmoniously to satiate your skin leaving it supple and smooth. My feet certainly look a lot better and I use the Fresh Fig every second day as a maintenance product. It’s great for elbows and knees as well.

Ultra-Moisturizing Organic Hand Wash is equally as gentle as the other products. A lot of the soaps on the market will dry your skin out when you have to wash your hands many times a day. The Nourish Organic Fresh Fig hand wash is really gentle and won’t dry out your skin. I’m in the garden a lot pulling out all the old vegetation and my hands get really grimy and earth-stained. It worked well in cleaning and keeping my hands super soft and lovely.

The collections come in 6 different scents that are vibrant and invigorating. I think all their prices are so reasonable as well and I plan on putting these products on my gift-giving list. Nourish Organic products have the backbone and essence of a quality product. I love them!
