One-Minute Mindfulness

Mindfulness! What does this mean? It’s living in the present moment and be consciously aware of our feelings, thoughts, and our bodies reactions.  Few of us live in the present. We either dwell on the past or think about the future. Neither is serving us in our current situation or helping us live in the now! My newest book One-Minute Mindfulness, How to Live in the Moment will help us get still and live in the present with acceptance and trust.

One minute mindfulness

One-Minute Mindfulness is filled with short stories that help us reconnect with our essence, our true self that is not distracted by issues that are long over, or new ones we are currently creating in our minds as we read this.

I thought it was interesting to read that our state of mind and specific attitudes with either help or hinder our mindful living. If we wear the three unhelpful attitudes, greed, hatred, and delusion, it will impossible to live in the present.

Another enlightened point that many of us don’t recognize that we are being trapped by our old perceptions, old beliefs, old patterns, and past happenings. We are living a stale life and judgment, critiquing, or rejection of our true nature. We are not open to or fear new thoughts, ideas, and perceptions. We don’t allow ourselves to speak freely without judgment. When we do, our psyche longs to heal when allowed to open up and divulge its true voice.

As you go through the book, you’ll learn you are not a prisoner of your thoughts and circumstance. It’s filled with helpful and eye-opening information. You can remove the blocks that keep you stale and gradually morph into a person who lives a mindful life. I really enjoyed this book; it helped me see areas where I can be more present.
