Ravyness Drakon Tarot Deck

I’m not one for chick flicks or love stories per se, but when I read the back of the Ravyness Drakon Tarot, I was compelled to probe and explore this fascinating deck. Envision a love story between a raven and a dragon! Some may feel the raven is symbolic of death and ill omens, and that may be in some cases. But, the raven also exemplifies rebirth, insight, wisdom, guidance, prophecy, and much more. Plus, they have the ability to act as psychopomps and engage in spirit realms.

Dragons are believed to be fictional creatures created by some imaginative minds. For centuries, dragons have been portrayed as heroes or villains in many folklore stories. But they say every fiction has its roots in reality. Yet, as credulous as it may appear, these majestic and legendary beings have been experienced by many people in this 3-dimensional world. While they are also symbolic of evil to some, to many they personify wisdom, strength, power, ancient knowledge, and even luck.

When you put the raven and dragon together, you have a powerful force that can offer life-changing guidance as you journey through this lifetime. That is the vibe infused in the Rayness Drakon Tarot Deck. The greatest lesson here is that love for oneself and others no matter how unlikely is very possible. And like the Dragon and Raven, they empower each other and lift each other up to be their highest selves.

The cards are a little taller and wider than the standard deck card. They are borderless and the edges of the cards are not gilded, which I prefer. The back of the deck is matt white with glossy black images of dragons and ravens. The cardstock is really nice – flexible yet hardy. The artwork is whimsical and mystical with a raw, hand-drawn watercolor vibe. All the images are captivating – breathtaking really and the colors go from bold and bright to soft and warm reflective of the subject.

The journey to becoming the best version of yourself takes time, intention, and dedication. This deck was developed to begin the process of opening the door to having an honest dialog with the self. That can be uncomfortable and perhaps a little painful as you morph into a new reality. Be willing and allow! I love this deck.
