Redmond Clay
Although I personally do not go camping, about 75% of my family are avid campers. They enjoy roughing it out in the wooded wilderness and around pristine lakes for weeks on end. Preparing for these trips takes a lot of thought and organization. One imperative ‘must take’ supply, is the first aid kit. This year I’m sending along a tube of Redmond Clay First Aid Hydrated Clay.
Redmond Clay is the maker of a beautiful healing clay. They’ve created several pure and natural bentonite clay products without any additives, preservatives, or chemicals that are kind and gentle to our whole body. These products are designed to influence our health in four key areas, adsorption, absorption, pH level, and trace minerals. The ultimate achievement of the clay is to rid our bodies of toxins, heavy metal, and free radicals. It’s available in fine powder, pre-hydrated gel, and capsules. This particular clay can be used internally for diarrhea, heartburn, acid reflux, constipation, and more. It can also be used externally for boils, rashes, cuts, aches, and burns to name a few. With all their attributes, it’s only natural to have plenty on hand at home, the office, and in your camping gear.
The Redmond Clay First Aid tube is already pre-hydrated, so all you have to do is apply a modest amount to the affected area. It’s ideal for bug bites, bee stings, poison oak, poison ivy, blisters, sunburns, scrapes, and dry itchy skin. It’s inevitable that every year someone gets bitten, get numerous blisters and/or even comes home with a poison ivy rash. It’s the perfect product to take camping, carry on long hikes, and have in your medicine cabinet.
The Redmond Facial Mud also comes in a convenient pre-hydrated, ready to use tube. Whether you have acne prone, combination, or aging skin, the facial mud will dig deep and draw out toxins, impurities, and improve your skin tone, and overall appearance. I love this product and use it twice a week. I apply a moderate amount all over my face, neck, and decollete area, and leave on for 30 minutes. You wash the clay off with a washcloth and some warm water. I really like how easy it comes off, no pre-softening or scrubbing is needed. I also love how pink and healthy my skin looks and how soft it feels afterward.
The Redmond Clay Powder can be mixed with water in just a few minutes. Mix two parts water with one part Redmond Clay to make a gel or mud. It can be used for a phenomenal number of ailments internally and externally. I’ve mixed a small batch and used it for a facial, it’s soothing to the skin and very cost effective. I’ve also worked it through my hair and left it on until it dried to a light gray color. It will take a few minutes to rinse out, but it will leave your hair unbelievably soft and silky. I apply the mix to my hair every week and even my scalp feels better. You can drink the clay in water, but it does have a chalky texture and taste. For me, I add one teaspoon of the dry powder to my smoothies every morning. You won’t taste it at all in a smoothie, but you’ll notice how effective it is. What I noticed was the increase in bathroom visits daily. I love this product so much.
The Daily Detox is a gentle way to cleanse the inside of your body in capsule form. The clay will bind with harmful toxins in your gut and usher them through your intestinal tract and out for elimination. It can be taken daily as a supplement or when you have an upset stomach. A few family members start their day off with 1 or 2 of these capsules and have noticed better elimination. A recommended dose is 1 – 3 tablets daily. Packed in 100% vegetable-based capsules.
Redmond Clay is just one of those natural products you feel good about giving your family. It’s a healthy and effective alternative to harsh pharmaceuticals. There are no side effects, exorbitant costs, and your body will love it. It should be in every home.
