Furry Friends Forever gives children a look at meeting a new animal, taking care of a pet, and having fun with their new best friend through music, laughter and fun. Secret code: Grover. The adorable friends are joined by special celebrity guests Keke Palmer, Kacey Musgraves and John Batiste.
The Furry Friends Forever DVD is all about puppies. Elmo has just adopted a puppy he named Tango. Together they show kids how to care for pets. There are numerous scenes that take place on Sesame Street, others are animated scenes. Kids will love watching Elmo and Alan build a robot dog for their robot friend Norbert. There are several Mysterious Mysteries that Elmo and Tango solve and they get the audience involved. They have several clips of real kids sharing how they take care of their dogs, like walking them, giving them water, brushing, bathing and of course loving them.
Want to make some doggy treats? Kids will go into the Sesame Street kitchen and learn how to make popsicles. The kids are shown how to mail a letter and what happens to the letter once it reaches the post office. Then Elmo talks about real dog walkers and the important things to remember when walking your dog and anyone’s dog. Then they swing by and see Mr. Noodle and talk about walking dogs and take an adventure with Abby and her brother Rudy who learn how to bathe dogs. Plus, there is so much more. It’s a great video that teaches kids the importance of caring for precious pets.
