No one, and I mean no one, wants to age, or worse look older than they are. There are a lot of factors that go into how we age, the biggest being our diet. I’m sure most of you are familiar with Jorge; he has several books out that help us hone our diet so we can be nourished, stay satiated, burn fat simultaneously, and now reverse signs of aging. The solution is simple, avoid foods high in sugars, including hidden sugars, and feed your body foods rich in antioxidants.
In the Fat-Melting Carb Swap program, you’re swapping high sugar foods for low or no sugar substitutes. If you’ve read Jorge’s other books, then you’re already familiar with the program. If not, it’s summed nicely in The Aging Cure. A Top Age Less Antioxidant-Rich Foods list is provided for quick reference. These foods offer the best sources of age-less eating.
The book has several meal plans to choose from; there’s a Carb Lovers Menu, Chicken and Seafood Menu, Faster Results Menu, Meat Madness Menu, Quick and Easy Menu, Dessert Lover’s Menu, and a Vegan/Vegetarian Menu. There are a plethora of mouthwatering recipes that will encourage you to stay on your program. Each recipe is accompanied by a colorful image and its S/C, sugar/carb score. Your goal is to reach an S/C of 15/6 which means you’ll eat 15 grams of sugar and 6 servings of carbs.
The end of the book shares lots of products; they show actual brand names. One page shows foods that will age you, and the following page shows products that are less harsh on our bodies. You can see the alarming differences. The point is, you won’t be deprived on this program. You can eat all your favorite foods while still trimming the body fat.
Resistance is futile during the holidays, and we know it. Having a plan set in motion for post-holidays will renew our desire to start the year of perfect. This book would be the ideal companion; it’s easy to follow and yields results.
